Feb. 9th

Cory made it home last night just before 7 p.m. He was able to get the truck looked at, shopped and made the return trip without problems. He was also able to pick up our residential visas that we had turned in for renewal in December. On his trip to LaGoanve he picked up some date palm trees, supplies shipped from Michigan last summer and some tools we had left behind.

The carpenters worked on doors in the house so now they close much easier. Mom painted the medical cart, the spice shelves and the table. We also measured and talked to the hospital administer about how we can improve the delivery/ER area in the hospital.

The new doctor is planning on starting Monday. I moved my exam room in the clinic so that he can be closer to Dr. Desaintvil. This move benifited the administrator in that he will get the large desk that was in that area and the team will make a small table for me to write on during clinic. I also gained a second window.

Ron continued to improve the electical system in the guest house. The work almost stopped when they were breaking a hole in the wall to get at the old wiring. They saw part of a snake's body though the hole. Dad was able to poke it and made it move along.

Everyone remains healthy and the cooks are doing a great job. School, laundry and sewing also were accomplished. In the middle of the night our battery system ran out of power-glad Cory was back to deal with it.

Thanks to everyone who is praying.
