Michigan, Haiti, Zambia.

Michigan weather continues to bounce around with Monday's including rain, snow, sun, wind....

Malay/mountain apples are tropical with a
 mild, sweet/tart flavor of rose.
This week I received a message from a staff member of the Haitian orphanage that we planted various trees and edible landscape.

We praise the Lord to hear that during these difficult days the Malay "apples" are being enjoyed by the children.

We continue to pray for the trees and various medical plants that we shared: that folks will benefit, be blessed and share with others.

Fritz now greatly looks forward to Sunday afternoons as he's started attending youth group at Corner Bible.

He enjoys meeting new friends, playing 9 square, devotions, and of course the food.

By the end of May he will officially be a 7th grade
student.

"Only" 6 or 7 months until rains return.
The new trees and nursery are being watered and
doing well.

We plan to take off the month of June and then start partial days in July, 7th grade.

Fritz also enjoys visiting the local library, flying kites in the spring winds, and playing games with Eli.

We're working with both of them to expand their cooking skills.

Cory remains busy connecting with friends in Haiti as well as Zambia.

He's also working in the yard and garden...longing for warmer weather.

The situation in Haiti remains a deteriorating mess. The people in many areas are fighting the gangs, machetes against automatic military guns.

We were asked this week by a school director in Haiti to "fall down in prayer for us, things are very hard".

We continue to pray for the Lord's will for our family in the months to come.

At this point it looks like we will be remaining in the USA for a while working to support family and improve our family dynamics.

We are looking forward to celebrating the completion of Anna's first year of law school soon after she completes her 3 finals: last two on May 5, and 10.

Then she will be packing up to head to Rwanda for a couple months before fall term as a second year law student in London.
