Spring flowers....

As we drive from here to there the spring Michigan flowers bob gently in the wind.

Outside jobs drew us outside this week.

Fritz and Cory both enjoyed a tractor ride. Cory discussed
growing corn and beans and impressed the driver about
Zambian ox team and hand tool farming.
A few tulips are up in Holland and daffodils all around. Mom has blue blooms along the house, the weeping cherry is blooming, the new elderberries made it through the winter....Cory and Fritz have been helping in the garden this week as well.

School continues for Fritz and I. Cory connects by phone and internet with both Haiti and Zambia.

We are enjoying our time with family, getting together Easter weekend with both sets of grandparents and my brother's family.

I'm enjoying being able to pitch in driving my folks around and attending appointments with them, something I've not been available to do much in the last twenty years.

They raised us to help others and that when you bless people you also get blessed and I'm living that now with them. Thank the Lord for this time to make memories with them.

We enjoy staying in contact with Anna as well as she plans for Rwanda in the summer and London in the fall. Finals are just around the corner the first part of May.

The news out of Haiti is not good but LaGonave, Delice and north Haiti are better off than most of the country.

In Zambia the dry season started early so the crops are suffering.  They probably will not have rain again until November.
