She completed them, packed up, put some items into storage for the rest of the year, and flew to Chicago.
Cory and I picked her up at the airport and drove back to Michigan early on the 11th.
Stopped in Chicago for breakfast to strengthen us to face the traffic!
We enjoyed our week together: shopping, planning, talking, laughing and making memories.
We enjoyed a couple meals celebrating Mother's Day with both sides.
We joined Cory's folks and sister on Friday for lunch.
My brother's family joined us after church on Sunday and a family friend took some family photos for us.
Then we enjoyed a meal together.Anna also spent time working on a homework assignment that others have a month to complete, however due to her trip to Rwanda she focused on getting a good head start this past week.
She did ask me to go shopping on Tuesday night and then on to watch her and Amy [roommate from her Calvin Days] enjoy some swing dancing.
First time Anna attended this free weekly event at Rosa Park Circle in Grand Rapids with a live band.
I enjoyed the music and watching.
We look forward in anticipation to hearing about her summer adventures the next couple months in Rwanda and then on to London.
Fritz completed 6th grade as well!
We will take a break from formal school until July.
We enjoy time with our kids and watching them grow in mind, body, and spirit.
Blessed to be their parents.
