Tomorrow, Lord willing!

Loading cement bags

Thank you to everyone who prayed today.
Temporary water hole.
Thank you to everyone who will pray for tomorrow.

Lord willing the pour will happen tomorrow...only time will tell.

Cory got up nice and early at 5:30...and then found out why it was so dark as he had read the time wrong.

Shortly after 7 a.m. we had things together and were out the door.

Stopped to pick up a load of cement and some of the cook's items and headed to the site.

9: 30....not many working
Cory was back with a second truck load of cement bags and the cook by 8: 20.

A donkey also came with a load of water for cooking from a spring down the mountain.

8:40 a.m. and the boss talked with the crowd of men gathered for work.
Cook's area

By 9 most everyone had left. Three guys continued to work in the gravel pit and a few other jobs along with some of the mason crew.

Apparntely those who left didn't like the wages offered, even though they heard the amount the day before..so rather than talk they walked.

At 10 the boss went to see if they were somewhere close and to improve his offer.

10: 40 we hear that 20 of the men had helped get one of our local supervisor's large cow out of a nearby sink hole.

11 a.m. Many back...talking, talking, talking....saying the pour will happen today.

Talking more...11:15 "pour tomorrow"
11:15 Boss says 'not today' but an early start tomorrow.

Tarp over the cement bags as a light rain started.

11: 35 Heading back with the cook. Thinking how to move forward tomorrow's to-do list and adjust things to fit reality.

Done today:
- more re-bar wired
- access into the water cistern cut
- forms around water cistern and stairwell
- improved bracing under the q-deck
- one cow pulled out of pit
- cooked chicken put into the refrigerator for tomorrow
- talk, talk, talk, talk......
- LOTS OF PRAYER.
Finishing up.
First meeting.
Form around cistern access
