Floor Pour: Part 1...

Cory not here to edit as he's running another load of cement to the site after grabbing a quick lunch.

Beautiful sunrise just before we left for the site, shortly after 7.

Unloaded the cement and other supplies by 7:45, including a hard hat full of beans for lunch.

Mixer started at 7:50 and first bucket of cement on the q-deck at about 8:08.

About 35 folks working: bosses, water crew, cook, gravel, rocks, mixer guy, bucket brigade for cement, and masons.

First stripe done about 10:15, then a short 15 minute shack break: sugar water, banana, bread, and some of the local guys cooked some hard field corn.

Hard hat now being used to drink water out of...praying no one gets sick.

Second strip started 10:40 and almost done about noon.

Hiring for the day.
Cory purchased at least 20 bags of cement over what the boss asked for...but at the rate they are going through them it doesn't look like there will be enough.

Boss says 'no problem'.

Praying for the water and cement to be multipled. Praying for safetly and all the equipement to continue to work well.

Stay tuned for the rest of the story.....

Prayer to start the day.
