Our goal is to complete 10 days of the new year before leaving for Michigan.
'Unofficially' the airport situation as we know it will be flights allowed to land in the mornings with all planes being gone by noon so that the work on the runway can be accomplished.

Because of the limited time the banana plants going to LaGonave will need to be picked up in Limbée by truck.
I enjoyed chatting with my parents on the computer this morning after their trip to South Africa.
Today the new campus breadfruit trees needed to be watered because the area once again is dry.
Yesterday the 3 area volley ball teams competed.
The team from Port Margot did not make it so the older girls took on the younger teams.

Thankful that the thieves haven't stolen many bananas the past couple months so there is much for us to enjoy and share with the kids programs on campus.

There is a new grocery store up the hill - which always has plantains outside. A good reminder to hold Fauche in the light.
