25 March

While our day lengths do not change much here the average temperature is slowly climbing upward.

A GREAT week of school-7 full days of lessons finished motivated by the knowledge that Uncle Todd's family will be here mid-June and that we will have a long weekend for missionary retreat in the middle of April. If every week of homeschooling looked like this past week everyone would do it.

Starting to think about next weeks newsletter-so please pray for me. Any ideas or questions about our ministry here please pass them on to me and I'll get back to you.

Working bit by bit on Home Ministry stuff. Reviewing churches to visit, e-mails, contacting supporters, looking at tickets and the calender, counting up school days.....all comes with mixed positive and negative feelings that often accompany living overseas and having your family in the USA.

Praying about: the national elections as they count the votes, those in Japan and other areas in the world in crises, for the Sonlight family who's 18 year old son was killed this week, for the persecuted church, for those in slavery, for family and friends with serious health issues, for those translating the Word, for our support team, for school, for rain for parts of Haiti that really need it, for the printing of the Creole Health Book..and more.

There are things that are so huge...burdens too heavy to bear.

I don't know how God does it. There is so much pain in this world.

Looking forward to that newsletter

I can't imagine how the Haitian people deal with all the poverty, earthquake, hurricanes, illness, death, loss, hunger, etc.

We continue to pray for all of you.
