Here they are.
Local 'Honey' banana from our back yard. Very sweet and firm with thin peel.
Last night Cory showed a French video along with video from my first trip to TiGonave. Many people here have not seen any pictures of the earthquake.
Last night a large electrical storm rolled in from over the sea. While I remembered to unplug the computers and Internet I forgot to unconnect our power source from the rest of the campus and forgot to unplug the freezer. A close lightning strike left me in the dark-worried that my neglect had resulted in a fried inverter and freezer. Cory at church worried about the same as well as the water pump which he had left plugged on.
While the fuse protected most of the above the inverter does need a new part to function at 100%. I'll be protecting it now at the first faint rumble of thunder.
Thankful for fuses today.
P.S. The clinic/church inverter isn't working, a small part fried so bad it fell off the circuit board. Our inverter just needs a new $10 fuse.
