School work is put away for the day. Mom did more reading than normal as the listening children dispatched spiders, hunted down dust bunnies, and straightened book shelves. We have never had BOTH grandmas here at the same time.
Cory had a very successful day in town. He made it to the bank, did some shopping, picked up the cargo, bought chairs and paint and picked up three weeks worth of mail.
Nineteen trees and plants have arrived from Florida in good shape. They weren't even wilted. Some are good size and a couple of the grape vines even had grapes on them. The trees have been carefully potted in good dirt, watered and put in a shady location.
Trees and plants include: 4 types of grapes, 5 types of avocados, 4 types of mangoes, blackberry, white sapote, macadamia nut, lychee, and sapodilla.
The cargo also include three boxes of newborn packets to be given out at the clinic. During our recent trip to Port-au-Prince we were able to pick up a box of Creole Gospel tracts that had been sent from LaGonave. We will now put one in each packet to be given out at the clinic following deliveries.
