Nov. 5th

Busy days: school, friends, trees.

We just received notification that we have 220 pounds of cargo on the MFI plane tomorrow! We win the prize for the mission for the most weight on the plane heading to Cap Haitian. The plane continues on to Pignon with additional cargo. Don't think we have had the privilege before now.

Two hundred and twenty pounds represent 3 boxes of new born baby packets, trees, plastic pots and a couple battery powered LED lamps. Tomorrow Cory will be busy on the road: bank, shopping, airport for cargo.

This week they have been getting ready for the trees. Over 50 locations for fruit trees have been marked around the compound. Some holes have been dug, filled with charcoal dust and trees transplanted. Good dirt has been located and prepared for the potting of the new trees tomorrow.

Saturday the we wished Majenni a Happy Birthday. She was happy to get the Barbie of Anna's that she had wanted. We are looking forward to making more friends next week with the team as well as enjoying family.
