He has traveled with us to every church we have visited. He is responsible for feeding guests to the compound so is known by all the pastors and many of the other members.
This is John Pierre's 5th child and first son. He came up this afternoon to tell us that soon he would be a father again and could I come and take a picture. It took a bit for them to get the baby weighed [8 pounds] and dressed.
Thanks for the cute donated outfit. A staff member asked why so many people were at the door. And I heard John Pierre joke that they were waiting to see the president. I'm afraid with 4 older sisters this little boy is going to be spoiled.
Thanks for the prayers. It is always an extra blessing here to have a good delivery as we don't have the medications or technology for resuscitation.
Before I could see the baby I was asked to see another young child who was in the hospital. I was really asked to do the death pronouncement and inform the family. I don't know any of the history but know that the child was severely lacking blood.
We are called to morn with those who morn and rejoice with those who rejoice but rarely have I done both in less than 10 minutes time. Keep up your prayers.
