Oct. 12th Thanksgiving in Canada

We have so much to be thankful for in this life.

We are thankful for our friends in Canada and join them in praying for their national elections.

We had a good weekend. Still need some gentle rains to fall but the lack of rain made it easier for us to drive to Vodray to English Bible fellowship Sunday afternoon. For the kids and I it was the first time in the truck since we arrived the end of Aug.

It was good to visit and worship with other missionaries. We learned that those adopting are at the same spot they were last year at this time waiting for paper work to be signed. We also confirmed that medical clinics around the country are very low as expected because there just isn't the money for medications.

The service in the morning at Fauche focused on how God can do anything. He knows our problems, He is all powerful and in His time he will show the plan for us.

This week Cory plans on planting Moringa trees, and work on the weeds in the yard while we prepare for our trip to Port-au-Prince. The kids and I will try to get additional school work done so we don't have to bring everything to Port.

We had a low key celebration for Cory's birthday. Will have ice cream and gifts in Port. Now we are looking forward to the trip to Port: correction-not the trip but visiting the Baptist mission next week. After the trip we will start our official countdown until the grandparents and the Warsaw team come in November.
