Sept. 26th

Cory remains busy planting trees and preparing for a trip to the Dominican Republic next week.
He also worked on a barrier to direct the rain water.
The kids helped collect leaves from the trees that were cut down to help mulch the gardens and trees.
Today neither Eli or Anna is feeling well so we will have a quiet day of mom reading to them. Not a full day of work but we will not have to make up the full day either.

Looks like we will have a second full day of sun shine after 3 of rain.
The trees that were cut have been reduced to piles of sticks and large logs for lumber. These will be put into trucks and shipped to those who purchased them prior to cutting.

We have heard that gas and trucks are now getting into Cap Haitian from Port-au-Prince. So sounds like for some things are improving. However for the families who live a distance from a major town things are going to be hard for a long time.
