Transportation prices have doubled, making it hard for people to travel to work and school. Cory reports fewer vehicles on the roads and seeing more flat tires. He speculates it is secondary to the heavier loads.
Cory continues to plan his plants and old seeds to see what will work. He has watered the garden a bit as we haven't had significant rain in a couple of weeks. We are still dropping to the high 70's at night and day time temperatures are in the mid-80's.
No change in the electrical situation so we continue to run our small generator to charge our battery system. Cory has also gone down and charged the clinic batteries and uses the generator to run the water pump once a week to fill the water tank.

I have started and am half way though my yearly on-line training for family practice. I have also started to turn in my needed 50 hours of reading for the year. Each spring I push to get the years worth of work done so I don't have to think about it the rest of the time.
Eli and Anna did fine on their report cards. Anna could do better but finds it hard to study when there are so many other things more interesting to occupy her time. Both of them will spend this week taking their first ever SAT's [standardized achievement tests] We are interested to see how they do with their first standardized testing. Unfortunately Eli came down with a cold this weekend and isn't feeling 100%
Please pray for the government leaders as they move to replace the Prime Minister who was removed from power this weekend. There is talk about lower food prices and sea containers of food being released from customs but there are also people leaving their homes in the Northwest, driven out by starvation.
