Drive to Cap Haitian

Fauche is by the river. There are small mountains on three sides of the compound. Parts of the road have a nice cement lined ditch for the rain but there is evidence of mud slides in areas.

Fauch is between Port Margot and Limbe. The above picture was taken on the way to Limbe. As you can see the road to Limbe is not paved. Some places are mostly small rocks from the river giving the ride a washboard effect. The ride to Limbe is about 20 minutes. After that the road is paved but in some areas the pavement was broken up for road repair but the repair hasn't been done.
One small mountain range is crossed and then you can see the sea better. The kids ride to school lasts about 50 minutes, depending on traffic. School is next door to the OMS radio station-4VEH. This is also where we fellowship with other missionaries at the English Chapel service-Sunday afternoons.
