Yes, nine years ago, Sept. 10, we moved to Haiti. A new missionary spoke Sunday about thinking about our jobs or tasks as being gifts from God. A gift from God is how we see the last nine years serving and living in Haiti-as a privilege and gift.
Has it been easy-No. Many tears have flowed: happy, sad, even angry at times. But each event, good or bad has been used by the Lord to shape our lives.
I can gladly say that I am not the person I was 9 years ago.

I admit I would of been very tempted to skip some of the hard times if I had been given a choice. But the Lord wisely didn't give me a choice. Only He knows what the next nine days, months and years will hold for our family. We are looking forward to finding out-living each day in His love and grace.
