Tuesday / Wednesday Jembo

Tuesday morning we took a walk, exploring some of the trails to the South of the compound for an hour.

As we drew near the compound, voices lifted in harmonizing song filled the campus from the Bible School chapel.

A bit after our return Benson came to invite us to Chapel so we made the short walk over, arriving at the end of the singing, in time for the scripture reading and to hear one of the female students give the message.

Follow God. He has a purpose for your life.

Turn away from sin- God will judge everyone's sin.

Trust and obey and He will provide and protect you.

We were introduced up front to the 40+ students and told we'd be sharing in the afternoon.

After lunch and a bit of rest we returned to chapel.

Kris spoke for the first hour and then Cory followed up.

A few had questions afterwards.

Fritz has been enjoying getting to know a few of the guys as the building nearest to the guest house is where the single guys live.

He was surprised that one of the 'single' guys was married. The gentleman's family do not stay here while he's at school.

Wednesday morning we once again headed out for a walk...a repeat of some of the paths and some new ones.

We did not get turned around and ended up by the soccer field just past the boy's dorms.

We took advantage of being back on that side of campus to check out the inside of the library.

The afternoon we spent packing up, cleaning a bit, and visiting.

We've been told that our next visit should be longer....we can't help but wonder if/when that could occur.

Thank you for your prayers....on to the mission at Zimba.
