Finish of team's first week.

The guys installed the plumbing today and ran into a few leaks. They toured the gardens with Cory and checked out the trees.

Mom put the second coat of varnish on the cabinet.

School progressed today even though Eli did not feel 100% having a sore throat and slight fever. He took a dose of artemisia.

School work continued including French class. I consulted another missionary in Haiti on a health concern before starting on school and then also wrote our next supporter thank you letter.

Steve played some volleyball with the children and even had to pick up leaves as they did when making an error.

Cory's been printing out newsletters today and now less than 100 remain. Prayers for the printer have held it together thus far.

This afternoon the 'team' helped us with putting on stamps, tri-folding and stuffing envelopes.

They should all be ready to go into the MFI mail bags on Tuesday.

We enjoyed some Haitian spaghetti for lunch along with left over pumpkin soup. Boiled vegetables with a white sauce rounded out our meal. Tonight we enjoyed leftovers again along with some fresh cinnamon rolls.

Currently active drumming coming from down by the river. Heard some last night but less than 1 hour. Praying that this will not continue all night as it has in the past. None of us sleep well when it lasts until sunrise.

Sorry-photos do not want to load tonight.

Sounds like you have busy days! I'm glad your team is able to do some practical work to bless your ministry.
