11 June Campus activities.

Morning activities. While school nears it's year's end in Haiti some students still study for finals. The House of Hope received more cleaning. The ladies church group sang in the church. Yard clean up continues with even our neighbor's trimming bushes and pulling weeds.

We consulted 2 patients in clinic and tried to encourage this 2 year old boy who received 2 degree burns from boiling water. Later in the afternoon we returned to clinic to consult a walk-in patient.

Yesterday afternoon the campus buzzed with activities. The smallest students stood for class graduation pictures. As I approached for the picture one little guy in the front suddenly noticed me and ran off screaming.

Quickly I took my pictures and retreated so he could join his class. A couple cried and screamed their way though the afternoon while one little guys broke out into dance.

Right beside this activity a celebration for Fauche's sports teams occurred. Certificates received with short speeches, a Compassion Representative spoke before some snack food.

When these two events started a crowd of children gathered to watch but soon they ran skipping and yelling down to the church/dorm building to watch an afternoon video. By the end of the video we're told 430 kids were present. Anna helped run the projector.
Cory and the big kids plan to deliver some banana plants to Limbeé this morning. Eli, Anna and I will continue to tie up some loose ends in school and clean/organize. Tomorrow night will try to join Todd's team in Michigan at their packing party by instant-messaging on the computer. Have a great weekend and keep the prayers coming.
