Nov. 5th Tomas, Iowa, Kid's book.

Just a quick update before we leave for Iowa.

Looks like Tomas could of been worse as Tomas remains off the West coast of Haiti. To early to tell how much wind and rain damage Haiti will get so keep praying. Most people in Port-au-Prince did NOT leave the tent cities due to fear they would not be let back in or would loose their few possessions. Because of lack of trees many places in Haiti have the danger of flooding and mud slides.

Today we leave for Iowa where we will be sharing with the Living Hope Wesleyan Church on Sunday and the group from Waterloo who we met in Ti Goave at the field hospital following the quake. This will be a new state for Eli and Anna.

After seeing how the health book looked in it's published form we sent off the 40 page kid's version to the publisher. This is aimed for school children up to pre-teens.

I'm always praying for Haiti, but have been even more so with this hurricane! One of my Compassion children is still without a home since the earthquake. The other still has her home and I was SO blessed to get updated photos of her from Compassion today!
