9 Nov. Iowa, Calvin College, Haiti Update

We enjoyed our trip to Iowa. We visited 3 museums learning about Iowa, the Mississippi River and President Hoover. We checked out the John Deere Pavilion. We visited Living Hope Wesleyan church and then some of the team we met at the Wesleyan Field hospital at Ti Goave after the earth quake.

We returned to Michigan late on Monday night.

Today we spent the morning with Eli visiting Calvin College-learning about what it will take to be a mechanical engineer. The science and engineering labs impressed him. As he will likely be an 'international' student as well as a homeschooler we wanted to be on track for high school.

Returning home Cory then took Anna to the orthodontist. She returned today for spacers and a redo of her lower bands. Now we're catching up on E-mails and rejoicing that tomorrow will be basically a no travel day!!!

Cory and I spoke with John Pierre and Pastor Immanuel. They report that their families remain well. Some banana trees blew over in Tomas and raining every day. Kodiak is thinner and they went as far as the DR boarder looking for cat food! Cholera is being seen at the clinic and one death reported of someone who waited to long to come for treatment.

Thanks for praying. We're renewing our prayer partner list so if you pray once a week please let us know.
