We enjoyed a visit and great potluck at Dighton Wesleyan church on Sunday. Yesterday Cory and I visited a class at Cornerstone University and shared about some of the challenges of working in Haiti. Friday I'll meet with a prayer group and Sunday we visit Kentwood Community Church, where Cory's folks and sister's family attend.
A few issues arose with the book but it's moving closer to publishing. Yesterday we approved the cover. I completed the scaled down children's version and we will be looking at publishing it once we see the copies of the full version.
Anna's mouth now contains hardware on the top. We started yesterday a daily twist that will work to widen her top jaw. Next week we start working on getting hardware fitted and put in on the bottom.
Reports out of Haiti indicate that Cholera continues to spread. Confirming the reports on how many people and getting the labs to confirm cases isn't easy and it is very likely that more cases exist than are being reported. Please continue to pray for the people as well as those getting in supplies for distribution, providing care and education. This underlines the need and importance for each person in Haiti to have access to clean water and the education to understand the importance of keeping the water containers clean and personal hygiene. [all addressed in the health book!]

Hi, I'm one of the students who was in the class at Cornerstone. I want to thank you for coming to speak with us. I appreciated being able to hear about issues in Haiti from people who firsthand knew the culture and the people there. Thank you so much!
Thank you very much for taking the time to comment and for saying thanks. We enjoyed our visit to Cornerstone. May the Lord bless you. Kris
