Happy Labor Day USA.

Today, although a holiday in the USA and last day before school starts for our Michigan nieces and nephews, ended up for us a basic Monday.

School-down to the last 20 days or month!

Clinic-after a busy couple of weeks returned to a more normal crowd who could spend their time waiting to be seen watching the roof of the waiting room/records building get painted.

Cory shut down the painters before noon as the temperatures soared and the paint should have 4-5 hours before rain or dew.

As we received more than 2 inches of rain over the weekend and heavy dew last night he didn't want to risk it.
Translation continues on the health book as well as making the 350+ topics appear uniform and nice headings to introduce the different sections or topics.

Grateful to Fre. Onix who kindly agreed to help me...before he knew how long the book ended up being. Thankfully not adding much new now and if I do will likely be due to his suggestion.

For those praying for Bedonia-received this update on Sat. Sept. 4th

Greetings to all,

I just wanted to update this group on a development with Bedonia Michel who is the daughter of Mt. Rousvel, the administrator of the hospital in La Gonave. Bedonia, who is eight years old, was born with Spinal Bifida and has been in the States on at least two occasions for treatment. She has now developed a severe infection in her foot which has the doctors in Haiti wanting to amputate her foot.

Due to the hard work of many people Bedonia will be arriving in Indianapolis tonight at midnight. Dr. Dan Edwards and Marion General Hospital have very graciously agreed to provide treatment at no cost. My wife and I will be picking Bedonia and Madame Rous up at the airport and they will be staying with us in Marion for as long as necessary. It is estimated that they will be here for eight weeks. Please pray with us that the treatment will be in time, successful, and that her foot will be saved.

Blessings,

Kevin
