We always celebrated in the middle on LaGonave so there you go.
Enjoyed a nice walk down the river yesterday after school. Many folks still out either bathing or washing clothes. The river level remains low as we haven't experienced much rain this week.
Cory remains busy with bookkeeping and office work. Next week he plans to travel to Cap Haitian on Thursday to pick up cargo and do some shopping. This week's trip to Limbe unfortunately fell on a National holiday so the bank remained closed. Plans for a trip to Port and LaGonave begin to take shape.
In 2 months Eli will be joining the world of teenagers. His calender helps him count down the days-not only for birthday plans but the end of our school year and travel to the USA. Anna picks up trash and pulls weeds to earn money for his gift.
Electric power once again travels down past Limbe to Port Margot. Yeah for us. Mango season thins out but bananas we have.
