June 2 Rainy afternoons

Will try to get this out during school as I hear the thunder advancing. Over 9 inches of rain the last 2 weeks, mostly falling in the afternoons. Steamy before the storms start-as temperatures running in the low to mid 90's. Green and muggy.

Cory provided flowers for church on Sunday. Some of these not common.
My folks starting to work on tickets for us to return to the USA in October. Kids starting to make plans-a good motivator for getting school work done.

Cory remains busy planting trees and plants. Took some across the river today and some to a second location on our side. The hills around us show signs of field planting too.

Pastor Rigo's wife still experiencing some pelvic pain. He hasn't heard from the doctor who quite on his way off to vacation outside of Haiti so we don't know anything new.

Pastor Rigo-as leadership of the District's Young People requested prayer for this summers conference. Last year many did not attend because of cost. He mentioned 3-4 churches who's youth programs restarted this year, one in Cap now has over 200 young people attending. May the Lord open many doors for these young folks to be able to attend the conference. Christians need encouragement and leadership training to become effective leaders in the church.
