A Hallmark video and then a Real game of Risk which has lasted much longer than Dad and Mom care to play. We should of taken Anna out when we had the chance-but now she's making a comeback.
Some computer time and DS time. An easy lunch of leftovers-and then more Risk.
We risked the cloudy weather and rainy looking radar for a family walk. We crossed the river-Cory and Anna with bare feet and walked the other side. Genner's gardens are looking good with some of the banana trees and bamboo planted back in March.
Folks asking for things-a few asked for food or money for food. One lady's plight reportable is 7 fatherless children and no help from either church she attends. A young man, Junior showed us his hands and a prescription for a medication he cannot afford. Sorry we don't have a feeding program. Sorry we don't give money out to people but to churches and clinics. Sorry-but we'll pray for you.
A few questions were agriculturally related. These Cory talk to and if he can help sets up contact for later. So many needs in this beautiful country.
Closer to home we learned of beef that will be for sale tomorrow- as it is still on the hoof today. Right now the local beef is cheaper than frozen chicken from Cap Haitian. So we support the local community, save a bit of money and add on a bit of work [meat processing] on to tomorrow's vacation agenda.
