26 May Celebration.

I'll try to blog a bit between rain showers. Sorry if this is short.

School-learning about China and the Boston tea party.

Cory tried to kill some weeds with round up but the rain may of washed it away. Over 3.5 inches so far this week.

Tomorrow's celebration supper will be in honor of 15 years of marriage. Starting the Family Fun Weekend. We talked about heading off someplace but couldn't think of anywhere close and cheap.

So a mini vacation without the packing or travel. Will try to play a FULL game of Risk. Watch some movies. Have a water fight--or maybe just run around in the rain. Anna wants to tie dye and do crafts. Have some USA baked beans, a container of chips, hot chocolate and pop tarts saved to make things feel 'special'.

Talked about going to the beach but with this afternoon storm pattern going on I don't think so.
No school on Friday [but the kids will have completed most of the work by tomorrow afternoon anyway].

Congratulations!
Have a great Memorial Day weekend.
I hope you get to finish that game of RISK. The trick is to rule the continents with the least number of entry points first, move the majority of your armies to fortify your boarders, then when you have your forces built-up sweep across Asia, Europe and lastly North America.
The USA doesn't have secure boarders. Ha! Ha!

Congratulations!! 15 years, that is awesome! Sounds like you will have a fun weekend. Beware of Eli in water fights. He tends to steal other teams' balloons. :) A nice rainstorm might be nice for an afternoon of movies. Have fun! I hope the game of Risk is successful!
