April 29th TESTS are Here!

After weeks of delays, tests in hand I now need to set the schedules and administer the tests.

I'm thankful that just last year the rules changed allowing parents to administer the Standardized Achievement Test to their own children. This saves Cory, Eli and Anna 3-4 days of driving back and forth to Cowman International school.

I can only give one child a test at a time so starting Saturday [just for a couple of hours] we'll alternate. One child testing while the other works on their own and then they switch. Each child spends 2 hours a morning testing meaning 4 hours of watching for me.

I do not worry much about my children's education but do want them to do their best on the testing. I filled in many a bubble during my schooling and to be honest just looking at the testing brings back some unhappy memories. Other memories not so bad.

Cory plans to stick by the house more to help control the inevitable distractions. Eli and Anna gathered up and sharpened the Number 2 pencils. I called Pastor Rigo to inform him that I'll not be able to help with Monday's clinic.
Now needed: good nights sleep for all, stay healthy, think clearly, work carefully and prayers for all to do our best.

[ School while planting Moringa trees. Learning about tile and grout.]

Go #2 pencils!!! I think Eli and Anna are getting the most amazing education EVER. The bubbles can only test so much. I'm sure they will do great!
