Nov. 4 Countdown-1 week

While most of the world is focused on Election Day in the States we also have an important countdown we are following. One week until the folks and team are here.

We have had some sunny days for the solar panels to charge the batteries but they aren't charging like Cory thought they would. He is investigating on line to find out if he has them connected correctly.

The last couple of days he has been focused on marking and locating sites for fruit trees around the compound. He is seeing how much space he has for his dream of becoming a source of good fruit trees in Haiti. We are expecting a second order of trees from the USA on the MFI flight on Thursday.

Fauche Wesleyan Church now has a new pastor. A couple weeks ago we attended the installation service for Pastor Jonus. He was given the keys to the church by Pastor Phillip and we had a good service. The following week both Pastors and members of the district committee when to his past church and installed Pastor Phillip there and gave him the keys to that church.

This past week Pastor Jonus and family moved into the 'L' shaped building just down the path from us. Pastor and his wife has a son about 2 and a baby daughter. Their son [sorry haven't been able to understand his name yet] is enjoying playing with our kids.
Pastor is on the left with his son.
