Last Day Pre-Team Preparations

Tomorrow! The team will be starting their journey today meeting in Indiana and driving together to Chicago where they will get on the plane to fly to Ft. Lauderdale for an overnight. Tomorrow at noon they will board Lynx Air and head to Haiti.

Arrangements are made for two additional trucks to met us at the airport. We are also set to split the team up and visit two churches on Sunday.
We are making beds, mopping floors, straightening up, making room in closets and dressers, cleaning bathrooms. It takes a bit to have 4 guests in the house and 8 additional people showering in the house. [the other houses on the compound don't have running water]
We will work on bits of school in between jobs.

The building that will be the main project site is being swept out, walls brushed down and one room plastered. The new trees are doing well. John Pierre came by yesterday as we were finalizing details and said that "the yard was inviting people to come for a visit". We think it looks nice too.

Please be praying for the children in Port who were injured in a school collapse which killed over 90 and injured at least 150 more. This school's construction is likely the same as many other schools. Buildings are build with the materials that one can afford and there is little enforcement of any type of building codes.
