Sat. Oct. 4

A few things to finish up for the school week. Because of planned trips and team visits we are trying to complete 6 school days a week. So far we are on schedule.

Cory is researching solar panels, needs to plant a few trees and do laundry today. Gas prices have dropped to 6-7 $ US a gallon depending on if you buy from the station or off the street. So we are starting to enjoy a bit more electricity.

We are at 80 degrees F and sunny. We haven't had rain since last Sunday night.

Stopped for a break. A few of the Haitians who went with Cory hadn't been to the city. They were impressed with large buildings, wide roads, trees in the city, and traffic lights. They learned about parking meters. They visited the hospital and Agricultural university. They were grateful for the ride with Cory.
