Oct. 25th Back Home

We had a good trip to Port-au-Prince and back. The trip to the Baptist mission took us 12 hours and included 3 detours, stop in Gonaives, stop at the boat dock, dropping off 4 passengers and one hour at the store.

The trip home today took 9.5 hours and included picking up 3 passengers, stopping at the boat dock for date palms and other items from LaGonave, purchasing gas and a phone card.

We are thankful that tomorrow is Sunday. Cory is dealing with three bags of plants and cuttings that Haiti Baptist Mission graciously allowed him to collect from their compound. He is also happy to have found a good extension ladder in Port that cost about 1/2 as much as it would of to buy, ship and pay customs on from the States.

We are thankful to have our visas renewed and have our identity cards handed in for renewal.

Well it is 4 pm and I need to work on lunch/supper. Thanks to those who prayed for our trip. Look for more photos and information next week.
