Hanna-Please Pray

Please pray for Haiti.

In the North we had light rain all day yesterday with light winds but it picked up later and we had high winds last night and continue to have bands of wind and heavy rain today.

This morning Cory's rain gauge was overflowing with more than 6 1/2 inches of rain. Since he emptied it we have had an additional 3 inches in the last 3 hours. So we figure we have had over 10 inches of rain in the last 14 hours or so.

Reports from the town of Gonaives is that the people were on their rooftops last night already. This is the area that Hurricane Jeannie hit so hard in 2004.

Radar shows still a lot of clouds and rain over both the North and the South. LaGonave called just now and they are only getting light wind and rain-no branches down. We have many small branches, Palm branches and mangoes down-but no buildings damaged that we know of at this time.

MFI flights were canceled so no mail today. Again we are thankful that the internet was worked on yesterday.
