We had a good time at the open house. About 80 friends joined us for an afternoon of catching up and sharing. Unfortunately, an hour before the open house I twisted my ankle on the stairs so I had to sit with my foot up. Despite this we had a good afternoon.
Carol and Helen, who we hadn't seen since June 07 in Haiti, even came to see us. We had a good time. Thanks to the folks who helped with set-up, food and clean up [I wasn't much help]
Cory was able to share at Allendale Wesleyan yesterday. This week we are going to spend a day with Cory's sister, go to the orthodontist with Anna, Cory and Anna have doctors' visit, a day trip to Chicago's museum of Science and Industry, Western Michigan Medical Fellowship potluck and celebrate Todd's birthday. [Like the photo-we will need to rest now and then.]
