The weather is supposted to be 85 and muggy today-more like home. We get teased a lot about wearing sweatshirts when in the States but that's ok.
The highlights of the LaGonave Wesleyan hospital's 50th Celebration was hearing the stories of how the Lord worked and is working in Haiti. Tomorrow we get to have a similar experience on a smaller scale.
We are looking forward to the Openhouse tomorrow. It is a great afternoon of talking and fellowship with family and friends who support the work in Haiti. It is neat to see past team members getting aquanted with our grandparetns or cousins. Past missionaries sometimes come for updates as well. You never quite know who will show up and that is part of the fun as well.
We generally have friends from Indiana drive up and we have a possiblity of some visitors from Pensilvania this year. We are planning to show a couple short Powerpoints about the work about 3 P.M. and answer questions.
Hope to see some of you there. 1-5 P.M. at the Allegan Wesleyan Church. Food provided.
Highspeed internet should be coming to Mom's mid-week next week. Then I will put some additional photos and share more about the hospital's celebration.
