Arrived in Michigan

Well we made it in only 12 hours late this year. Last year we were close to 24.

Our time on LaGonave was very good. We enjoyed both visiting with the guests and the events of the 50th Anniversary. I took lots of pictures so after we get settled and have some time on a high speed computer I'll be sharing some with you here.

Our trip to the mainland was fine and we overnighted in Port-au-Prince on Monday with Dr. Hunter and Kathy Cox. We were 3 hours delayed out of Port on the 1st.

Then we spend a couple hours in Miami agricultural customs because we had over 100 pounds of Moringa seeds to be sent to ECHO. We had the correct paperwork but it took the folks there a while to figure out what to do.

By the time we had cleard customs we had to rebook our flights and ended up going though Chicago. We enjoyed a few hours of sleep and a midnight supper-thanks to American Airlines last night.

A short flight to Michigan this morning. I'm on Cory's mom comtputer and we are ready to head to Allegan. Thanks for all of you who prayed. Will be updating the blog from time to time.
