Instant messaged with mom and my brother this morning. Lord willing in two months we will be able to talk in person. Our schedule for the States is rapidly filling up with speaking engagements, appointments and travel. Doesn't look like we will have much down time this year with a trip to Indiana for home ministry training and a trip to New York.
I went down and saw my two hospitalized patients. One is the 11 year old girl I wrote about earlier-she is doing better having lost more than 6 pounds of fluid weight and today I saw her eating for the first time. The hospital administrator saw her the other day and didn't recognize her. The second gal I have is a 8 year old with cutaneous Anthrax on her face. Yesterday the swelling was worse but her fever is gone today and her face less swollen.

Today we will work on homework, house choirs and some yard work. We also enjoy reading together as a family. OK-mostly I read to them but still enjoyable. We found out this week that the curriculum that we are going to get for next years home school has a 25% discount for overseas missionaries!
For those of you who were wondering what President Preval said in his speech he basically said that for the second half of his term [2.5 years] he will focus on roads, agriculture, electricity [hydroelectric] and water. The goal is for Haiti to feed itself and have enough left over to export.
