Feb. 12

The team continues to make progress on many projects. Ron has enjoyed working with a couple Haitian men on the electrical work. We know they have learned a lot and hope that they can help maintain the compound in the future. Here are some of the wires that were removed from the guest house walls.

Mom and I looked around the clinc and storage sheds and found some items that we had sent up to the guest house to repair. Including a baby bed and glass sided cabinet that we plan to repaint. We also talked to Pastor Rigo about the new plans to improve the obstetrical and emergency area. He told us that he has started to visit the hospital patients daily-and yesterday morning was able to lead one to the Lord! We rejoice with him and pray that the improvements will draw more people to the clinic and increase our impact on the community.

Dr. Remme started yesterday. He is the intern who will spend his national health service year with us. Dr. Desaintvil left for Port-au-Prince before he came. I'm thankful for the additional help this week as I remain busy with the team.

After supper we were visited by Pastor Denord and Pastor Jonus. They came to pray and thank the team for their help. We had a nice visit and the team felt very appreciated.
Please pray for my brother Todd who is having surgery today at 2, on his Achillie's tendon.
