Feb. 11

Sunday we visited the Port Margo church. The service was a bit under 2 hours. The team again went forward and was introduced to the congergation. This church has over 300 members and can seat over 550. The music was good as always. The sermon focused on how we as the church can do more for the Lord if we are united.

After church during the greeting time we were asked to take a photo of a family who had 3 blind children. All three kids have been blind since birth. The reason that they wanted to photo was so that we could ask people to pray for the family. Their family name is John Baptise and the children's names are Josianne, Michelange, and Jodrlyn.

The second big event of the day was having Pastor Immanuel, Madame Immanuel and son, Dan for supper. Ron and Sadie have being staying at their house. When I had asked if they wanted a Haitian meal or foreign they chose foreign. Gerta made a feast of ham balls, mashed potatos, corn, banana/raspberry jello, rolls and carrot cake. We had a good time fellowshiping.

The night ended with getting the kids lunches made, uniforms laid out and backpacks packed to return to school.
