Good Bye 2007

It has been an interesting year. One cannot help but to think back and review the year. Big events or surprises for us in 2007 were as follows [no particular order].

• Moving to the North


• Helen and Carol's retirement from Global Partners and returning to the States


• International Christian school for Eli and Anna


• Kris's dad's heart attack and bypass surgery


• Change of job status
  
• Irvine family move to LaGonave as field directors


• Huge increase in driving on rough roads


• Northern Haiti's climate-cool, wet, mildew


• News that we are going to have a new niece or nephew in February-Cory's brother's first child.


• 5 couples currently approved and raising support for short term or career work in Haiti.

Makes one wonder what 2008 will hold. We are looking forward to Kris's folks visiting and hosting 2 teams in February. Celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary. The LaGonave Wesleyan Hospital's 50th anniversary with three days of events. Celebrating our 10th anniversary of being in Haiti.

We are thankful to God for providing for our needs in 2007. We are thankful for new friends, new opportunities and new location. Bon Anne! Happy New Year!
