The end of November is almost here. We are doing well. The rains have let up for a week, the nights are cool [low 70's] and the days are sunny cool [low 80's]. Cory has planted more 'winter' corps in the garden like broccoli and carrots. A few cucumber plants survived the Caterpillar attack and are still making more cucumbers than we can eat. At least they are easy to give away.
The kids are counting down the days. We have been invited to their Christmas program on the last day of school, 12th of Dec. Eli has the part of a sparrow and Anna a talkative sheep. Eli's school teacher has had a family emergency so he is adjusting to a substitute. Anna had a note this week that she needs to practice her French more-hard to do when Mom and Dad don't know all the pronunciation to help.
After school and on weekends both like to help around the house. Here is Anna collecting cucumber seeds. Cory saw a small cucumber in the market a while back and the lady asked him 85 cents for it. A Haitian would get a better price but maybe some gardeners could make some good income. Eli is digging where we now have a new septic tank almost completed.
