Garden Start

Cory behind and beside the house-happy to be outside, [not driving] and getting his hands dirty.

Cory: I have planted Moringa, Star fruit, jujube, black sapote, egg fruit, sapodilla, Santol, Maylay apple, Miracle fruit, papaya and date palm.

Other things planted include: summer squash, cucumber, Hawaiian sweet corn, green beans, tomatoes, militone, and Artimesia.

Soil is mostly clay. Average rain fall should be over 100 inches a year. Where we lived on LaGonave averaged about 35 inch a year.

Cory is testing the effectiveness of enriching the soil with compost and charcoal dust.
He is back outside to plant more trees-with the remaining sunlight.
