Net Ball
The sun has set on another day/ week.

Cory and Pastor Benson traveled to Choma yesterday and did some shopping: food, more fence, fertilizer, propane, some hardware & tools, plastic nursery bags,  a fan for the living room/guest room, and only few more plants since the back of the truck was almost full: 4 kiwi vines,  lemon, tangerine, mahogany, 10 eucalyptus (only 30 cents each!), and a  grape vine.

For Fritz: a black ball cap for playing, kite string, and a short sleeve shirt for church.

Please pray for the students
Today we worked on both the porch door and the front door so both can be shut and stay shut now.

Onias and his wife worked for us today to earn money for expected December arrival of their first child.

He worked on the garden fence project and kept her supplied with a mix of soils, mostly from two types of termite hills, as she filled the nursery bags.

Cory and I watered the nursery, planted some seeds: moringa, avocado, a few squash and apple seeds.

I was able to have a nice long chat with Anna on the phone before she headed to bed.

I then helped move the filled nursery bags to a location under the trees and helped fill more.

Guessing over 250 bags filled today-didn't keep track.

Cory says that one can plant 145-200 avocado trees or so per acre.

The tree at Jembo Mission by the guest apartments is ripening now, a bit off or at least very late-season and before the mangos so Cory would like to graft a good number of trees using bud wood from that tree.

Other points: Fritz visited with the guys and enjoyed the women's net ball game this afternoon while playing with friends.

Studied a bit of Tonga.

Put names of students on their pictures that Cory took this week and our Tonga teachers helped us to identify who is who...still missing 7 student photos.

Studied some more Tonga and worked on this blog while the guys cleaned up from supper before we have Family night video.
