So our thankfulness for getting eMed Covid testing a few weeks ago in our house through internet was multiplied this week when we tried many times Tuesday to repeat Fritz's test before our international travel.
Starting before lunch and ending past his bedtime we connected time and time again; sometimes the sound worked but never would the needed video link work.
Wednesday morning we headed out a bit early after trying unsuccessfully at the house again to connect.
We stopped a couple times on the way down the mountain but still could not connect.
We left our truck at a local clinic and transfered our luggage to the mission's truck and then Judain drives us the rest of the way.
Once we were ready to leave the dirt road for Route National One we tried again, because should Fritz have tested positive there would be no reason for us to make the trip into Port-au-Prince.
Didn't think through the travel noise from the busy national highway and it takes a while to do the video standing by the truck but thankfully in 20 minutes we had the test results and PRAISE THE LORD Fritz remains negative.
On to Port-au-Prince where the traffic always causes us to praise the Lord for quiet country living.
We made one quick stop for a few gifts and Cory picked up our mail before we checked into a hotel very near the airport.
Today is our day to fly. Then a couple days with family in Georgia before we head to South Carolina where we will be attending our Global Partner's area retreat at Southern Wesleyan University.
None of us have ever been to South Carolina so that will be a new experience for all of us.
