Good trip...thank you for the prayers.

The school books returned to their places, never having left the suitcase.

The 5 boxes of school books, household items, seeds, and agriculture books were given away.

Although we ended up being gifted a bag of plants Cory wanted [vetiver, Aloe vera, flowering plants], and 14 small brown tilapia fish, school books/games and videos to bring back home.

The hospital made use of the boat's return to
ship supplies.

Fritz saw a fish jump several time while swimming the first day and flying fish on the way back when he stood at the back with his hand on the boat's rudder, 'stearing'.

He toured: the old and new hospitals; the duplex that three of us lived in for 6 months when we moved to Haiti; the house we then lived in for 8.5 years and brought baby Anna home to live; the house that I lived in as a child for two years; the old guest house that housed many a team when I was growing up-including all my grandparents; Starfysh Life gardens where Cory's moringa project and date palms grew; rode through the town to visit Okipe-passing by the airstrip, the jail, the city square; and we saw the sun rise over the mainland mountains while walking the beach looking for seaglass.

Jeantiny has worked with Cory and the WISH/Starfysh
gardens since '98. Shown with his two youngest sons

We enjoyed fellowship with the team and held meetings about mission business; celebrated Fritz finishing 4th grade and starting 5th; saw some old friends; some enjoyed spicy food.

On the return Fritz and I hung out at Ortlip for the morning while Cory shopped for at least 3 months of supplies and following a quick lunch we headed up the mountain.

Thank you to Okipe for sharing! We look forward to
raising tilapia fish in our irrigation ponds.
