Heard that most of the team slept well last night. Eli, Anna and I joined them for devotions after supper expecting them to share briefly and head to bed.
But Cory came looking for us after we missed our normal bed time enjoying hearing the different folks share about the trip. We headed up to the house at 9:20 p.m.
Late breakfast of oatmeal, bananas, banana bread and cinnamon rolls. Still cloudy and cool out. Unpacked further and discussed some of the children's lessons for the week.
One project worked on today was covering the massage table.
Late morning I took the new folks on a campus tour. A few people in the hospital and cholera clinic this morning. Continue to pray for the medical work.
Fre. Alert traded health books with me again as he continues to work on the editing.
Lunch consisted of rice and beans with vegetable sauce.
This afternoon more work on the children's lessons and a discussion with John Pierre about his ideas and timing.
We also discussed setting up some massage classes and having Kimberly give some massages to folks who could benefit.
Because Cory could not find any paint in Cap Haitian yesterday he will look in Port Margot tomorrow when they go to visit the market and bakery. We hope the team can paint some school rooms.
Supper soon and then we will enjoy team devotions after dishes.
Think that a slow day benefited the weary travelers. Thankfully the three delayed bags arrived early this afternoon and that John Pierre traveled to Cap to pick them up.
Tomorrow afternoon from 3-5 we will have our first children's meeting. The team will present the story of Noah and the ark. Please pray!
