Folks reach the two week mark.

Yesterday ended well. Steve arrived to his hotel in Florida to overnight before the last leg of his travels bring him home tonight in Michigan.

We enjoyed his visit and hope he returns.

Cory planned to shop in Cap Haitian before dropping Steve off at the airport but ended up shopping later as well.

All the potholes on the main road have been filled in prior to Carnival weekend but the time saved was used up by waiting on increased traffic in Cap.

On each side of the road Cory reports that viewing platforms are being built to hold the crowds expected for the parade.

In addition to his list of places to visit John Pierre who accompanied him on the trip shopped for the hospital picking up needed vaccines.

In addition they received a call asking if they could stop and pick up the dentist and his wife and 4 bags of cement on the way.

We also received our mail.

Back at home Dad and Mom worked on painting the volleyball judges step, the dental cupboard it's first coat of white [colored marks on the wood made this interesting] and varnished the new repair on the pharmacy chair.

School continued with Eli and Anna winding up the first quarter of our school year. Both continue to do well.

A sunny day allowed two loads of laundry to dry.

The propane refrigerator started to smoke in the afternoon so after supper Cory needed to deal with that problem.

This morning Mom is helping Anna with school while Dad puts on the second coat of white paint on the cupboard.

The stamp came for Eli's Book Herder project having been made locally.

While we do not know how the man carved it out, we think it looks good!

Today more book cards will be written and books stamped with the new stamps.

Know Cory's nursery needs some work as well.
