No rain last night so we decided to visit the Port Margot church so that even if bad weather comes next weekend we can stay here at Fauche for Steve's first visit.
The church benches filled up rapidly.
We enjoyed the music and service. I tried to translate but a few words I need to talk to our French teacher about tomorrow.
While the service was conducted in Creole one word that I know as 'wing' predominated but did not make sense in the context.
Our teacher played keyboard so he should be able to enlighten us tomorrow during class.
Stir fry for lunch. Anna and Grandpa went down for a bit of Kid's Club-where the girls bested the boys in a song competition.
Cory, Eli, Mom and I combine forces to make banana cream pie while doing the dishes.
Then in order to use up the 6 egg whites left over from the pie Anna, Mom and I made some meringue cookies.
Memory making and laughter good for the spirits.
