Wow that week flew by fast.
Prayer request. Last night over 12 inches of rain fell in the Cap Haitian area causing massive flooding and at least 16 deaths. Cory was unable to reach John Pierre by phone tonight but will try again tomorrow.
Anna did very well with having her teeth removed. She enjoyed extra ice cream and popsicles.
Eli drove Grandpa and Dad around a few trips learning new skills and starting to track the needed driving hours he needs to advance to step two after he turns 16, next year.
Office work, thank you's, shopping, research, fitting in more meetings in the next couple of weeks, family time, school work, reading, filled the additional hours of our week.
We enjoyed joining my aunt and uncle and many prayer partners Wednesday noon for a great supper of soup and hot fudge brownie sundays. Then we shared about our ministry. One question that stumped Cory was about the vitamin content in breadfruit.
Thanks to google, 1 cup of breadfruit: contains 110% of your daily vit. C, 4% daily calcium and 6% of your daily iron. Carbohydrates 20%, dietary fiber 44%, and only 4% of protein. No cholesterol, low fat [1% daily and 230 calories in 1 cup of fresh breadfruit.
Anna by a 1 year old breadfruit tree. New variety.
Hosting 2 nephews and 1 niece tonight for a sleep over. Tomorrow will work on Sunday's presentations, cleaning up the house and more family time. In 2 weeks time we need to be prepared to celebrate Christmas with both sets of the family.
So if you come to visit my folks in the next 2 weeks you will see the Christmas decorations starting to migrate out of closets and into their traditional locations. Shopping almost done for the family. Eli and Anna not giving much help with lists yet.
Packing and celebrations will merge together in the next couple weeks much like our Michigan, Haiti lives.
10 Nov. Cory spoke to Gennier this morning. While Cap Haitian continues to receive some rain at this time Fauche area is doing OK.
